Merry Christmas

Happy Holiday Greetings All,

As 2009 draws to a close I reflect back on the year with great fondness for the wonderful times we have had worshipping in the wilderness. I am so thankful for all the folks who have hiked with us this year and trust that you all have sensed the presence of the Holy with you in all the places that you have been but especially in the wilderness! 2010 should provide another wonderful year of hiking and worshipping and I am looking forward to seeing you all on the trail.

Our January 2010 hike will be on Saturday, January 2nd. Again this month we will meet in the St. Bede's parking lot at 12:30pm and depart from there at 12:45pm. As always at this time of year where we hike is dependent on the weather so everyone plan on meeting us at St. Bede's.

And remember I'll be bringing my backpacking stove so we can boil water for your favorite hot beverage - you bring the tea bag of your choice (or coffee or whatever) and your own water and I'll get it good and hot.

Also, please pay attention to what the weather is to be like for the weekend and dress accordingly and be prepared for the possibility that it could change during the hike. Please refer to the General Information section at the bottom of this page for more information on how to prepare and especially to the 10 Essentials of Hiking link.

Blessings and I look forward to seeing you on the trail,
