The hints of yellow in the photo of the Sangre de Cristos signal that seasonal change is in the air. In addition to the changes that fall brings we are making a change (or change back) in the scheduling of Worship in the Wilderness. Many of you have asked about moving WitW back to Sundays and it does seem to be the thing to do. So beginning Sunday, October 3rd WitW will move back to the first Sunday of each month.
On Sunday, October 3rd we will meet in the St. Bede's parking lot at 9:00am and leave there at 9:15am. The fall colors should be fabulous and I look forward to seeing many of you.
As always, come prepared for the weather and bring plenty of water and a hearty snack. Also, please refer to the General Information section at the bottom of this page for more complete information about hiking preparedness, including a link to the 10 Essentials of Hiking from the American Hiking Society.
Blessings & I'll see you on the trail,
P.S. It has been a blessing to have many of our trail wise canine companions join us on our hikes and so we will return the favor and bless them this month as part of our observance of the feast of St. Francis.
